Responsibilities

• Design the mechanical parts/modules of analytical instruments, life sciences devices, etc 
• Engage in full lifecycles of new product development, including concept design, product requirement definition, design, prototype, supplier interface, verification and validation test, problem solving, and design transfer to manufacturing 
• Be responsible for the quality, schedule, and cost of your design 
• Collaborate with Industry Design, product marketing and customer service team to improve mechanical design based on the user feedback 
• Work with cross-functional project team (PM, System engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering,
• Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Service, etc) 
• Perform stress/thermal/flow simulation and development test with prototypes for concept proof, finalize design by delivering 3D models and 2D drawings 
• Generate innovative design ideas and mature the technologies in research projects
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Fresh graduates in 2022 with Mater degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 
• Knowledgeable in one or more of the following technologies domains: motion mechanism design, fluidics design, optics mechanism 
• Knowledgeable in one or more of the following manufacturing material and process, processes: sheet metal, machining, plastic injection and die casting 
• Knowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experienced with tolerance analysis 
• Ability to apply DFX (safety, reliability, cost, serviceability, producibility, testability, etc) 
• Ability to conduct analysis using FEA, CFD, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), DOE, etc 
• Proficient in the use of 3D CAD and Analysis software (Solidworks is a plus) 
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both in mandarin and English
